And by what I mean a purpose is a mission, a goal. World peace. Sounds very far-fetched, doesn't it?

World peace cannot be achieved. We've been told this our entire lives.

I would like for you, for just a single moment, to NOT think that way. Instead, imagine a world where

World Peace

exists

daily.

Wouldn't that be incredible?

When that day comes, I want to have helped and started it. I want to be able to smile with the rest of the world.

So here is my pledge.

My project is Make the World Smile. With this project, I want to smile at a passing stranger. It's a domino effect, one I've seen a million times. If you smile at someone, a genuine smile, what do they do?

They smile back.

Armed with this knowledge, I've started smiling at everyone around me. It sounds silly, but they pass that smile on, and I've had an entire building smiling at each other and happy for a few moments.

What if we could do that with the entire world?

Wouldn't it be beautiful?

This journal is to follow my steps as I begin and share this pledge with the rest of you. By all means, please share it with me.

If you really want to share with everyone, head over to smile4mtws, a community that everyone can join and partake in.

We'll change the world, one smile at a time.
